[Turoial] how to make subtitles work on your ps3

ok at first u need
1. a movie
2. subs named the exact same as the movie
3. a program called AviAddXsubs (http://www.calcitapp.com/AVIAddXSubs.php) <----download by clicking the titel

now u open the program like this and it will look like this:

now u go to config 1 and make the right setup:

when u chose the right setup u go to "create DivX with Subtitles"

like this, just clike the "create subtitled DivX file" and it will run for about 2-4 min. remember it wont change the old movie file but create a new with the subtitles on it as an option

now if u have putted the new movie file over on a usb and starting the Ps3 go to usb device click triangle - Show all- choose the movie, play it. now go to the menu (select) and press subtitle option and find the right subtitle :)

hope u like it and find it usefull it took me a long time to find a proper program so i just wanted to spare u guys some time ;) :shock:

EDIT: this will work as a option not as a "glued sub" you can choose it as an option you dont HAVE to play the subs even if they are on the movie, im pretty sure it works with dvd's havent tried tough :D

Yes, I liked it, thanks for sharing the program, this might come in handy when I feel I need subtitles (Very seldom :P).

I liked how you added pictures with directions, +rep and post rating.

Aslo, I don't really use subs, because watching the movie without it is a splendid way to become better in ENglish and get a wider wocabulary ;)
