Any musicians here on Fleud?

I myself started off playing bass, and have been playing in a band for maybe 2 years now :ugeek: . I've also learnt electric guitar in that time, and I sing to myself (badly).

NOW YOUR TURN FLEUD

I used to play the saxophone back in school. That was tons of fun. I still bring it out every year for an hour or so just to play a few notes.

Now days I just listen to streaming techno though. ;-) But, I would go crazy without music.

I used to play a bit of sax. I hated it though.

For me its the listening that's the best bit :3

How well do you play? that's pretty cool! :p
I would request something, but I don't know any songs that are played on the ukulele :(

Does CDs count as playing music...? If not, nope I can't play anything :[

I mostly just listen to music, would go mad without it!

Does it counts if you do the drumming while hearing to a song? (I do it exactly as on the song.. hihat with the right hand, little drum with left hand and big drum with my foot :P (I don't know the English names of those parts of the drums, but I think you can understand that)) :)

sure it counts :P I don't know the drum names either :P except snare is the one with the wire on it, and bass drum is the one with your foot :)

Hi-hat is the two closed symbals, normally placed to the left, and normally played with the right hand.

Snare is one of the most used drums, and is very much used in school-bands.

Kick is the big "bass-drum" on the floor, and you play it with your foot.

You also have one open symbal, and that is called a crash symbal.
Normally you have 2 or more Toms, which may look like the snare, but they do not have the strings on the bottom of the drum, so they make a "jungle-ish" sound :P

I have never played drums, but I have played in school band, so I know a lot about them :P

I personally play guitar when I fell for it. I have been playing for 6 years now, and I have a background of 5 years on french-horn and 0,5 years on tuba in school-band :P

I also sing when I feel for it, but mostly for myself, but in rare occasions, I sing for others :)

Also, I love the music games for gaming-consoles, like Guitar Hero :D

Too bad my ankle is sprained, so I cannot play the kickpedal on Guitar Hero: World Tour :(

I use my left foot for the kick drum, but that is the one that is sprained :(
