Lol I advise anyone thinking about using or using adsense to NOT click on your own ads. They leave it a while before they tell you they have banned you and won't pay you :P So you will just be wasting time and will potentially lose out on your hard earned cash if you click them yourself. I know it sounds like common sense but you know how it is when you think you can earn a quick buck :lol:
I've already been banned once for clicking on my own ads and trust me its not worth trying to con the system, especially as google is huge!
I would advise putting your time and effort into trying to promote your site and get legit clicks ;)

Yup. It's in the terms of service. Be careful that no one at your IP clicks on the ads. If you see one that actually interests you, copy the URL link down and put it into your browser manually!

Ads will come later, we need atleast 500 active members before we will even think of add it, because right now, it's not worth it

With AdSense you need to respect very careful their rules,or else banned.

Very cool.
I made 6$ in a day by telling my friend to click the ads.Lol i think they had worth 1$ each haha.
But kinda quited AdSense

If anyone knows about autoblogging, please say so, and maybe post a guide or two in the blogging section ;). It's a great way to monetise with adsense as well :)

Is adsense any good then?

I just made a blog and have it on there now, but I'm not sure if it is a good idea to put effort in or not to try and get clicks.

It is good if you have one site with a lot of traffic or a huge data base of sites that have good traffic

Just make sure your blog doesn't have anything to do with Adult content, hacking or anything really thats illegal ;) Or else your adsense account will be banned and all that effort will be wasted

Has anyone tried using AdSense for domains? I mean, you can get a free .co.cc domain anytime and put ads there, but how do you even get people to visit an empty domain?

Dont use adsense for domains on .co.cc chances are you wont get indexed that well.

Yeah, back when I was younger I thought of clicking my own ads. I created a page of 10 different bidvertiser ads and sat on my PC for two hours one saturday morning clicking my ads and restarting AOL to get a new IP address. Surprisingly they sent me my money through paypal and didn't notice a thing! I hope to god they improved their fraud detection systems now, or their advertisers won't be very happy...

The very first day i got adsense i clicked like 3-4 ads, lol
havent done it since then.
do you think they will say/do anything?

na its fine if you click on them a bit.... i went a bit crazy and earned shit loads in my lunch break.... little did i think but it was pretty obvious that it was me clicking as i made like $9 at the same time every day and then nothing for the rest of the day :P

Just a few clicks here and there will not get you banned

Ok kyle (dumbass on sc) just told me he clicked EVERY ad on my site (about 10 total) all at one time...

So my CTR went through the roof that day...alll from one IP...

Is THAT grounds for banning me?

Cause that wasn't my fault, i had no idea, but i dont know if Big-G will care or not..

I think.....you MIGHT get banned. Cause that is also accounted as spamming since it's all from the same IP, but I'm not really sure, I've never really used Adsense before.

But I know you shouldn't click on your own ads. xD

I just emailed them and told them what happened. Figured it be better than just trying to play it off, ya know?

Yea. I would do the same. Let's just hope they'll have mercy, but if they do, like sky_king said, make sure it never happens again.

Do NOT click on your own ads. Google knows. When you do it, there is a pretty good chance you will get banned. The best thing you can do is e-mail Google and tell them it won't happen again.

Bardonist: Depends on the keywords, real estate ads are worth more than some free MP3 ad for example.
