The Lonely Girl On The Stone

A poem written by me ;) Hope you like it!

A girl was sitting out on a stone
The girl was sitting all very alone
She looked up from her stone to the sky
And to her surprise saw an angel came by

A girl was sitting
she was sitting on a stone
the girl who was sitting
was sitting all alone

The girl looked up
from her stone to the sky
and to her surprise
an angel came by

The angel then spoke
so softly he said
not to worry or be sorry
but be hopeful instead

the girl looked higher
her eyes became wet
she was looking at a bed
but things weren't that set

because the bed became a grave
and the angel told her she was brave
and she read what the stone said,
it was 'I love you dearest, now join the dead'

Interesting poem. Sad ending. Maybe she should then wake up from a dream and live a more prosperous life because she's more in tune with death and realizes every day is another day to be thankful for life... hm. Or leave it as it is. It's pretty good.
