I swear you can view PDF on ipod touch/ iphone nativly! certainly you can view msword docs because I was looking at one yesterday!
In this guide I will teach you have to add and read documents on your iPhone or iPod Touch.
This is legal so no reason not to do it.
You will need:
- A jailbroken iPhone with Cydia
- An USB cable
- A local computer
- WinScp
First of all open Cydia and search for "docs" and install it.
Info: Docs is an app capable of opening PDF, excel, powerpoint, word, txt files and many more types.
How to use:
You will need to know how to use WinScp to get SSH acces to your device, see my guide here:
http://http://fleud.com/apple-f121/h...-t125.html
Now that you have SSH acces to your device make a folder name docs (you can call this wathever you like, and make more folders inside it) inside:
root/private/var/mobile/
Now, drag and drop your files into that new folder. Disconnect your device from your local computer and navigate to your files using docs.
Well, that's about it! Enjoy!

You can open it trough mail and stuff like that. But it sucks. They get deleted after a while, so using a native application is way better.

yeah, I'd love the option to save files into a "files" folder on my ipod touch :/ I have 6 gigs free, but still apple insists on reserving that space for music which I'll never get, and stopping me from viewing files when not online.
