Learning guitar

Hello, I'm learning guitar at the moment (just bought an electric guitar) and I'd like to hear what people use to learn it.

Do you pay for guitar classes, do you learn guitar through a YouTube channel or a website? What do you do?

I personally bought a danish dvd with Ole Kibsgaard, and I think that it's pretty good.

I'm hopeless on that field...i even have my cousin to teach but nothings work out. I really have a bad memory and low patience too when it comes to musical notes. I'm a good listener but not a player.

Well yeah, I've tried to jam a little with myself and friends.. Just practicing chords and trying to learn songs. I've also tried to write my own songs, but it isn't anything wild yet. :-)
