[Movie Review] Fanboys - 2008

I went to the cinema last friday with my girlfriend, and we decided to watch Fanboys, mainly because we consider ourself as computer geeks/freaks, whatever..

Anyway, after watching the trailer we knew this was the movie we where going to watch, and i was very suprised that this movie actually came out as it did, because from the movie description it sounded a bit like a "used" story some way.

The movie is about 5 starwars fans, who have been knowing each other since their childhood. As kids they planned to invade the Starwars ranch, which is a huge high security ranch of Starwars stuff. Once one of their friends gets cancer, and only has 4 months or less to live, they are in big troubles. They are real fans, and the next release of the movie is comming up the upcomming year, 6 months later. They realise they have nothing to lose, and suprises their sick friend with their idea of travelling 3000 km. to the ranch, storm it, and steal the movie before it's getting released.

The whole travel is full of fun and entertainment, they fight with Startrek fans, and 2 of the guys ends up with 2 prostitutes, who they think are interested in them. I promise this movie will make you laugh. There are priceless scenes, which really makes you think... "Does these guys, ever do anything else than playing video games, and watching Starwars?"

I wont reveal the ending of the movie, as it would be a spoiler, and possibly ruin the whole movie for you. So this is it, feel free to come with feedback, or comments.

Sound like a abit messed up day for me. That would be cool to do xD NOT that part where their friend get sick... I wont see this movie -.- I get enough ideas already xD

Haha. Seems like a good movie. Thanks for the review! I might watch it. Hmm, maybe from now on, everytime I finish watching a movie or reading an e-Book. I'll write a review about it ;P
