Music Recomendation.

In here, post bands that you would recommend to others along with a brief description and maybe a possible 'first taster' song. Also, try and suggest bands that other people may not know about..

I'd like to make two recommendations.
Firstly, Toadies.
This band is a post-grunge band from Texas. They've been together since 93 and after a brief hiatus have just gone on tour backing their latest album. As a first listen I would suggest either 'Tyler' or 'Away'. Both songs from their first album, Rubberneck.

Secondly, Throwing Muses.
This band is hard to describe, but are probably best suited to the style of Shoegaze. Their sound is made up of fluid-like guitar riffs and psychedelic vocals and lyrics that end up creating a wall of sound that just 'washes over you'. As a first listen, I would suggest either 'Shimmer' or 'Not Too Soon'.

Post hardcore english band. Mix of trance, screamo, rock & a bit of almost everything else.
Definitely a band to listen to.
