Hmm,thanks for review.I may watch it soon![]()
I just watched a film called 'Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium'. Now at first I was sceptical, it being one of the very few U rated films released recently, but I have to say, I really enjoyed it. The film is about a magical toystore and its owner, Mr Magorium, the manager Molly Mahoney, a newly employed accountant, Henry 'Mutant' Weston, and a small boy called Eric Applebaum. Things start going awry when Mr Magorium announces he is leaving, and it is up to Molly, Henry and Eric to fix things.
The acting from Dustin Hoffman was brilliant, and his character (Mr Magorium) supplied some great laugh-out-loud moments. Starring as his 'leading lady' Molly Mahoney was Natalie Portman, who also plays a vital part in one of my favourite films, V for Vendetta. She of course was looking as cute as ever, along with giving a smile-inducing performance (or maybe I'm just in love with her xD) with some deeply emotional moments.
The main thing that made me write a 'review' of sorts was the fact that it made me SMILE. Almost all the way through I had a grin on my face. In my opinion, this is a definite 'feel-good' film.
